Garr's presentation in Apple Store Osaka

On March 4, 2010 Garr Reynolds gave a great presentation in the
Shinsaibashi Apple Store. Some interesting points:
* "death by powerpoint"
* "beginners mind" exercises - drawing picture of the man in front of
you, add a title to some picture, add picture to some text
* what is the common between a presentation and an japanese bento?

The theater was full with people - sitting, standing around. First
time I saw Garr in action. Pretty interesting and heplful.
After the presentation we have also a great "nijikai" (drinking party)
near to the Apple store.

Next Design Matters presentation will be on 15 April (Thu), same place
(Apple store), same time (19:00).

Namaze-Takedao Hiking

Between Namaze JR station and Takedao JR station (Nishinomiya city)
there is an unofficial hiking way. Before there was some railway, but
now it's just an walking way. Beautiful place - have river, 6 tunnels
and during this season (october) - momidzi (japanese trees with very
red leafs during the autumn). It was a very good entertainment for us
and for the kids.

Design Matters Presentation

I gave a presentation for the "Design Matters" group -
http://designmatters.jp/ . There was just a few people and I think I
spoke a little too fast, but in general it went well. The was about 30
minutes for discussions, so everybody could speak what is on his mind.
After that we visited very good "robatayaki" for a "nijikai" (last 3
pictures).
